Almost two years have passed since the announcement of the largest Dutch fan-translation project ever. A complete Dutch translation of Zelda III - A Link to the Past. A team of six people worked hard on this translation. Now, Ok Impala! presents with proud the Dutch version of this excellent game! Download the patch on the Zelda III - A Link to the Past page. Report eventual bugs or comments through the mailform. Enjoy the result of two years of hard work!

Update on Zelda III - A Link to the Past - Dutch Translation. Currently, 100% of the script has been translated and inserted in the game. When beta testing is completely finished the translation will be released.

This is the largest Dutch fan-translation project ever. The end is near however. Four new screenshots have been added to the page of this translation. Keep an eye on the site for more news in the upcoming months!

The counter has passed the magical number of 100.000! Ok Impala! was founded 40 months ago, back then I couldn't have imagined that so many people would visit the site. Thanks for all support! Ok Impala! will present some interesting projects in the upcoming years. So, enough reason to visit the site on a regular basis!

A short update on the current projects:

Ancient Tales - Prophecy of Sadness

Slow but steady progress. Many details are added to several areas currently. Large parts of the game have entered the final stage of development..

Epic Racers - Impala Kart Courses

The 5th driver was recently finished! Now there are 3 drivers left to be drawn. At the moment work is done on inserting the correct palettes to make all colors in the game fit to each other.

Faxanadu - Dutch Translation

Project has been freezed for the moment to give the other projects some more room to breath.

Zelda III - A LInk to the Past - Dutch Translation

80% of the script has been inserted in the game. The last parts of the script are translated at the moment. After that the whole script will be revised to make all dialogue fit in the game.

There hasn't been an update on Epic Battle - Impala Kart Courses for a while. Meanwhile there has been a lot of progress however. Sadly, Sasori has left us as a team member, therefore all sprite work has to be done by Stifu now. Right now there are already 4 new drivers implemented in the game. Currently, the last details are worked out for every new course to get the difficulty exactly right. Finally, the definitive name of this Mario Kart hack will be Epic Racers - Impala Kart Courses.

Ok Impala! presents a new Dutch translation project, Zelda III - A Link to the Past. This translation is open to anybody.

To make the translation work as easy as possible a script of the game can be downloaded. Everyone interested in translating this game to Dutch or an other foreign language can start directly now.

A short update on all three current projects of Ok Impala!

Epic Battle - Impala Kart Courses

Progress on this project has been pretty scarce. We decided to give it rest for a while. Epic Battle - Impala Kart Courses has surely not been cancelled. There will be a release in the end, just like every other project that has been announced on Ok Impala!. However, the release of this Mario Kart hack has been pushed back. Don't expect it to happen this year.

Faxanadu - Dutch Translation

The Dutch translation has reached a completion of about 40% now. Some new screenshots can be found on the page of this translation.

Ancient Tales - Prophecy of Sadness

Lots of progress on this project in the last few months. It's likely that beta-testing can start in 2006. Some new screenshots have been added on it's page.

Added Super Mario Evolution, a hack of Super Mario Bros. This hack was made by Mashi. Yoshi fans should check this one out. Download the patch under "creation".

Today marks the release of the Dutch translation of "Legend of Zelda". This is the excellent first entry in the Zelda series. Take a look at the screenshots and download the patch on the page under "translation".

Also, a new poll is here! Cast your vote to decide which game should be translated by Ok Impala! in the future.

The site has been changed to perform better with different resolutions. There is also a poll available now, so vote your favourite!

The project pages might not always show it, however there is made huge progress with all current projects. Expect a big release in 2005 by Ok Impala!
